Hi there,

I am a newbie to Nebula cloud base and just curious what kind of the circumstance that connection will experience slow cloud and display the quantity of devices on it ?
Via your user guideline, it only states "the number of devices that are experiencing slow connection speeds", but how slow will trigger this function ? Any definition to interpret this feature ? Naming of "Connection" is also confusing and not easy to understand.

    Hi BackZero, Welcome to Nebula!
Let me explain you, there is a mechanism on the cloud that is continuously communicating with Nebula devices, when, for any reason, this mechanism does not receive a reply from the device, this device will be displayed in the "Connection" section.

So you meant that Nebula devices still connect to Cloud (online status) but somehow the mechanism on NCC is unable to receive replies periodically from the devices. Then these missing replies will be accumulated during past 24 hours among all registered devices and display the total number or devices that presented this condition?

You got it right. The NCC might not be able to get data from the Nebula device at determine point in time due to network instability, for example.

Is there a way to know which device experienced the slow connection event and at what day/time? It is unusual that with multiple Nebula devices connected with the same gateway/xDSL online 1 experiences slow cloud connection and the others no.

What do you about a new features to test (on demand or scheduled) a connection speed test? It would be very usefull.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @lalex86,
Yes there are plans already to enhance the slow connection part, it'll show which devices are experiencing slow and what time.

As for your suggestion on the new feature, you may post in the Idea section of our forum to let everyone discuss about your proposal as well as see if there is any feature from others that you agree with you can vote it too :)
