Scenario :
Users may want to capture packets from a specific IP address for troubleshooting purposes. This provides the benefit of filtering the collected packets and preventing them from becoming too large. This FAQ will guide you on how to execute this process.
Answer :
For example, if the user wants to capture packets from the LAN1 IP address 192.168.1.36, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to MAINTENANCE > Diagnostics > Packet Capture.
- Select the Interface as LAN1.
- Choose the Host IP as "User Define" and enter the desired IP address 192.168.1.36 to capture, as illustrated below:
P.S. Not only can the LAN IP address be captured, but the WAN IP can also be captured.
