If you've suddenly lost your wireless internet but still can connecting on the SSID, it's important to start by checking the event logs to determine the reason.
For the uplink physical issue, the AP event log will show that “Port 0 is down!” and can't reach the gateway.
Here are the tips to check whether the issue comes from:
1. Check the Uplink Cable and Port: Swap the uplink cable and port to see if the issue resolves. This can help identify if the problem is with the cable or port.
2. Move the AP: If possible, move the unit to a topology with a stable uplink. This helps determine if the issue is with the AP itself or an external factor.
