Website Blocking Not Working on C3000Z Modem

I am trying to use the Webesite Blocking feature on my C3000Z DSL modem, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I add the URL of the site I want to block, and assign it to a client, or to All LAN Device, and apply. The system takes a minute to apply the change and then comes back up. But the blocked site is still accessible from the LAN.

Rebooting the device after adding the block does not change the behavior. The device is using firmware version CZD005-4.16.011.0 if that makes a difference.

The only thing Centurylink could come up with was replacing the modem which sounds extreme considering that everything else on the device is working as advertised.

Maybe you can ask your service provider or retailer for assistance or new firmware.

Unfortunately, Centurylink just points to Zyxel when I open a case about website blocking with them, and they are both the retailer and service provider.

According to both the modem and Google, I am on the most recent firmware revision.

Zyxel doesn't even have a support department as far as I can tell.
