How to use OID to get the system uptime through SNMP on ATP and USG Flex models?
Before reading this article, please refer to the below two articles:
How to set up SNMPv2 on ATP and USG Flex models?
How can the system uptime be queried through SNMP on ATP and USG Flex models?
Scenario :
If the user knows the corresponding OID (object identifiers) for the firewall's configuration parameters or values (such as system uptime), they can utilize the OID to query the firewall through SNMP and retrieve the corresponding value. For example, if the user knows that the system uptime OID is .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0 and can query the firewall to obtain the system uptime information directly.
Answer :
In the example below, we use the MIB browser to demonstrate the process.
STEP 1: Ensure that the MIB browser successfully connects to the firewall. Enter the OID .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0 in the designated field, select "Get" for the operation, and click the "Go" button.
STEP 2: Retrieve the system uptime successfully.
