How to install NWA1123-AC PRO as repeater

Hello,

I have some NWA1123-AC PRO that I want to use as a WiFi repeater because I have no possibilities to pull LAN cables to use those APs linked to a switch.

Is it possible to do that in Nebula?

I see only Smart Mesh option, may I have to use that?

I have different scenarios where the root wifi is made by another vendor, like standard Internet Service Provider.

Can I use the "Smart Mesh" function on Zyxel products also in this case or I have to have at least one Zyxel AP linked with LAN cable as root AP?

Hi @GiuseppeR ,

The Smart Mesh is compatible exclusively with Zyxel access points. Therefore, for your setup, you must connect at least one Zyxel AP via a LAN cable to serve as the root access point.
