Hi there,
I noticed the NSW ports can be set as access or trunk. what if an access port receives vlan tagged packets? will it forward the packet as it is or will it validate whether it's the same as PVID ?
Thanks!

    Hi JohnM,

An Access port transports traffic to and from only the specified VLAN allotted to it.
A Trunk port is a port that is assigned to carry traffic for all VLANs or allowed VLANs you configure on NCC.
If an access port receives VLAN tagged packets, it will be forwarded when the port also belongs to the specific VLAN with the same PVID.

it will be forwarded when the port also belongs to the specific VLAN with the same VLAN ID.
Does that mean that the VLAN ID of the tagged packet should be the same as the PVID?
