Transferring configuration files between different switch models can be challenging due to variations in features, port configurations, and command sets. When upgrading or replacing switches, such as moving from an XGS2210-52HP to an XGS2220-54HP, network administrators often face difficulties ensuring that the new switch mirrors the configuration of the old one. 1. Connect your computer to the new switch using an Ethernet port.
2. Use an SSH client (like Tera Term or PuTTY) to access the console of the old switch (XGS2210-52HP).
3. Execute the show running-config command on the old switch and copy the resulting configuration to your clipboard.
   
4. Access the console of the new switch (XGS2220-54HP) and enter configuration mode by typing configure.
   
5. Paste the copied configuration commands into the new switch’s console.
