Odd not able to login problem

Ive been using may routers over the years and had my share of problems but today I just cant see how to login to my VMG8623 Router. The IP is 192.168.1.254 I can scan the network and see it, I can ping it, I get onto the internet through it. I can see it is my default gateway but if I try to log on to it the page just sits on a blank, not doing anything. It doesnt even bring up anything the page stays blank, no login or anything. I have tried on PC and Mac, I have disabled everything. In the end I just get told the page cannot be reached. I have tried cable/wireless and tried with both fixed and dynamic IP on the PC or mac but to no avail. Ive even tried turning it off and back on again.
Any help ?
