EX3301-T0 With weird short on antenna connector

I wanted to install a better antenna and desoldered the pcb antenna that comes with the router to install a pigtail witha rpsma connector. The thing is I see the shield it is shorted with the central pin. Is this ok?? WJ5 connector point.

It is recommended that you do not change any hardware to avoid damage to the device or other problems.

It is at your own risk that you change this part, and I do not work for Zyxel.

Looking carefully at your image of WJ5, they look like should not be shorted together. I think that I would make sure that they are not shorted together with solder. The centre looks like it should be an island…
