Low power mode can affect the performance of the WAX650S access point. Here's what happens:

  • Using IEEE 802.3af PoE: There is no wireless functionality.
  • Using IEEE 802.3at PoE Plus: The access point operates in 2T4R mode (2 transmit antennas, 4 receive antennas) for both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.

This reduction in power impacts the overall throughput and coverage area of the access point.
