NR7101 module upgrade

I would like to upgrade the module on my NR7101, but the the current module software (RG502QEAAAR11A03M4G) seems to be for a NR5101, which makes me doubt how to proceed.

Searched the forums, and found other that did the same. Did the upgrade in increments as described on the linked page, and all seems to work. Fingers crossed that it helps with the nightly disconnects :-)

NR7101 - Module firmware Upgrade Path & Naming

The firmware names of the modules correspond to the version that you should have installed and that you can upgrade to.
For example RG502QEAAAR11A03 - R11A06, this means that you should have version R11A03 installed and you will upgrade to version R11A06. It is important to be consistent when installing updates.

Take your time and upgrade in following order, restart between each upgrade……

• RG502QEAAAR11A03 - R11A06 (from A03 to A06)
• RG502QEAAAR11A06M4G - R11A07 - (from A06 to A07)
• RG502QEAAAR11A07M4G - R13A02 - (from R11 (A07) to R13 (A02)
