Answer:

Synchronization issues between active and passive devices in HA Pro setups can often be resolved by checking configuration settings. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure the passive device is reset to its default configuration.
  2. Disable any customized zones for the heartbeat port (e.g., For USG FLEX 700, set the zone to "none" for the heartbeat port ge12).
  3. Attempt to run the HA Pro synchronization again.

    If issues persist, use the command on the passive device to collect HA sync logs.

    Router> show device-ha2 trace-log
