Nebula FWA 510 and Iliad 5g Not Working, No Card Detected!!

I have to report a strange behavior of the Nebula FWA 510 Router with the Iliad Operator in Italy. When i plug a sim of this operatore, i have a couple, the router interface show "no sim card detected".
The Router FWA 150 works as expected with a sim from H3G (named "Tre" in italy) but with each Sim from Iliad act in the same way: no sim card detected but the blu bars led is blinking, as it finds something, but the world led is red.
Any one has a similar experience? I have update to te last firmware.

    We recently tested an Iliad SIM card and did not encounter the issue you described. It is functioning properly on our end.

    Regarding your device not detecting the SIM card (no IMSI), this is likely a hardware-level problem based on our experience. Could you please provide us the following information for further troubleshooting?

    1. Does the undetected symptom consistently occur with only one specific Iliad SIM card? As you mentioned previously, you have two Iliad SIM cards: one is not recognized at all, and the other is detected but missing some data. Could you please screenshot the symptom and share it with us?
    2. Do you have another SIM card adapter you can try? Additionally, you may try to clean the metallic contact part of the SIM card, reinsert it, and observe if it is detected.

    Here some picture of the router NOT working with Iliad SIM Cards

    More often "no Sim Card" (but blue signal bars blinking)

    Sometimes "Connection Down" (but blue signal bars blinking)

    Every SIM Cards ha NO PIN and they are working on a mobile phone for voice call or browsing web.

    Here the configuration has required by the provider.
    With h3g is the same config but instead of "iliad" i have to write "tre.it".

    The latest firmware version for the Nebula FWA510 is 1.18(ACGD.2)C0. From your screenshot, it appears that your Nebula FWA510 is running a previous firmware version. Please upgrade your mobile router to the latest firmware and check if the issue persists.

    I've followed your instruction but the device continues to not work in a proper way.

    When I flashed the last firmware at the first reboot it has recognized the Iliad sim and everything was working, line up and fast 5g, Urrah!

    So I power off the device and moved it to a better position inside the house.

    But at the reboot and any other reboot the device started acting as before: not recognizing correctly the Iliad sim and no Connection message, working perfectly with the H3G SIM.

    I'm currently browsing via thetering on my mobile and Iliad SIM so no issue with the provider.I've not taken any screen shot, sorry, i could take them tomorrow but the situation is almost the same except the firmware upgrade.

    Hi @Nik79

    We suspect that your FWA510 model cannot detect the SIM because the ISP Iliad SIM card thickness differs from other ISPs, including the working SIM of H3G Tre. Please check if the SIM card is slightly misaligned, which may cause poor contact and prevent it from being detected normally. If the SIM is thinner, try adding tape to the back of the Iliad SIM card to increase its thickness and see if this resolves the detection issue (see attached image).

    If the above solution doesn't work, could you please check if the IMSI value is present on the WAN cellular page? Additionally, could you provide the ENDC combinations provided by the ISP Iliad?

    We experienced some issues with the Community yesterday, but they have been resolved now. Could you please try troubleshooting your issue using the method I mentioned above?

    If the issue persists, please provide us with the IMSI value from the WAN cellular page and the ENDC combinations provided by the ISP Iliad.

    I'll try later with your "mechanical" solution but i have to tell you that the SIM is inside a Sim adapter because the device accept only MICRO format but every mobile phone wants a MINI.

    I remember you that i have two Iliad SIM: one is not recognized (SIM no present) the other is recognized but are missimg some data in the Sim Information Tab of the router, maybe this could help you.

    I'll add picture when i'll try later but before i want to thank you and Zyxel for you support!

    I had your test and today as yesterday… no way with Iliad. Now also with the second iliad SIM the device says "No Sim Card" but blue bars led is still blinking.

    I tried with a little piece of paper between the sim and the adapter. It has been a little diffulct to put it inside and take it out, i don't think we have any problem realtive to a missing contact between sim and router.

    Then i tried without the piece of paper and the result was the same.

    The iliad SIMs and the H3G look the same size and shape, the fit smoothless inside any mobile phone.

    I can't get the IMSI number, i tried different app and inside the mobile settings but no luck.
    I have the MCC and the MNC: 222 50

    I have the ICCID number: 8939500120093837039

    I got a picture of the nebula with the last firmware and no sim card:
