To improve the user experience during the initial setup of access points, Zyxel Networks has introduced several enhancements. These changes ensure that users complete necessary configurations and have easy access to cloud management and the Nebula mobile app.

Key Enhancements

1. Mandatory SSID Change:
   • During the initial setup process, users are now required to change the default SSID name.
   • At Step 3 of the setup wizard, a warning message will inform users that the default SSID must be changed to proceed, ensuring that users personalize their network settings.
2. Dashboard Notifications and Deep Link QR Code:
   • The QR code displayed on the dashboard has been enhanced with a deep link feature.
     • If the Nebula mobile app is not installed on the user's device, scanning the QR code will redirect them to the appropriate app store to download the Nebula app.
     • If the app is already installed, the QR code can still be used to register the device using the mobile app's QR code scanner.
