When experiencing network congestion on your ATP700 VPN, you might observe logs indicating full TX queues. This issue can stem from several factors:

  • Bandwidth Management (BWM) limiting traffic.
  • Interface ingress/egress bandwidth configuration.
  • Internet Service Provider (ISP) bandwidth restrictions.

To address the issue:

  1. Disable the BWM temporarily. This might solve the congestion issue, but you should reassess the bandwidth allocation needs.
  2. Fine-tune the BWM rules to better suit your network's requirements. For instance:
  • Specify the correct upload/download internet speed for each external interface.
  • Configure VLAN-specific rules based on the total bandwidth requirements, ensuring balanced traffic flow.

Always ensure that your BWM rules accurately reflect your network's usage and demand. If necessary, work with your ISP to increase your bandwidth to prevent congestion issues.
