Keep configuration when switching from Standalone mode to Nebula mode

I have 4 NWA50AX APs in a network. Currently they are all standalone.

I'm considering moving to Nebula, but I'd like to know:

• Is my current configuration kept when moving to Nebula?
• Can I switch back to standalone and keep my configuration?

No, your existing standalone configuration is not automatically transferred to Nebula. You will need to reconfigure your APs within the Nebula platform. However, you can pre-configure the APs in Nebula, and these settings will be applied instantly when the devices are successfully online on Nebula.

Second question: Can I switch back to standalone and keep my configuration?

While you can switch back to standalone mode, your Nebula configurations won't be retained. The APs will revert to factory default settings.

For the best experience, we recommend starting fresh with Nebula configurations after migration. Nebula offers benefits like centralized management, cloud-based monitoring, and advanced security tools.
