Hello @Mar_Cin,
The firmware for the NWA50AX is not compatible with the NWA50AX PRO.
Please note that only the following models are affected:
NWA50AX
NWA90AX
NWA55AXE
These models require their specific firmware. Make sure to use the correct version to avoid any issues with the NWA50AX PRO.1 -
Turned out i was suffering from this. I have 4 nwa50x aps all in firmware 7.0.0 and only one of them was still operating 2.4ghz channels. Will this be fixed in the mainline versions so that we can enable automatic ugprades again?

Hello @Kekkis,
Thank you for contacting us about this issue. A fix will be included in an upcoming official firmware release in Q1 of 2025. At that time, you can enable auto-upgrade to apply this solution with the next official firmware update.0 -

Hi @Cyrill12 ,
Please let us know your NWAA50AX PRO management setup: Standalone mode, Nebula cloud, AP Controller?
- If Nebula enable Zyxel support. Additionally, please provide us with the name of your Nebula organization/site here or via the private message by clinking to my account > Message.
- For non-Nebula modes, please provide the configuration file.
This information will help us investigate your issue.

Hi @Cyrill12 ,
After reviewing, we found that the 2.4GHz signal is being broadcast from your NWAA50AX PRO. This means your reported issue is not related to the original post, which concerns a case where there is no 2.4GHz broadcast.
We can help investigate why your wireless clients cannot connect to the 2.4GHz SSID. However, the diagnostic file that you provided appears to have been collected after the AP reboot, which is why we cannot find any logs related to 2.4GHz wireless client connections.
Could you please help us:
- Connecting wireless clients to the 2.4GHz SSID
- Waiting until the wireless clients show connection failure messages
- Collecting a new diagnostic file at that point
