If the client device failed to receive an IP address, the symptom will be like disconnect right away after connect to the SSID.

The Wi-Fi Aid log will show the client connection event with ‘DHCP failure/timeout’.

This could be the reason why users are unable to connect on AP, as the device fails to get an IP address from the DHCP server.

Potential Root Causes:

1. DHCP Pool Exhaustion: The VLAN for SSID may have an exhausted DHCP scope or lease time too long, meaning that no new IP addresses are available for clients attempting to connect.

2. Network Issues: DHCP server replies slowly for devices who asks for an IP address, it might be the performance on packets forwarding.

Recommendations:

1. Check the DHCP server settings for the VLAN to ensure that there are enough IP addresses available in the scope with shorter lease time.

2. Verify the VLAN configuration across all devices to ensure they are properly forwarding DHCP requests and responses.

3. Test whether reauthentication is caused by the devices losing their IP when roaming between APs, potentially due to DHCP timeout or VLAN-specific issues.

Optimization on wireless performance:

1. Enable the 5/6GHz radio on the SSID and set the power larger if it is currently only providing service on the 2.4GHz frequency to avoid co-channel interference and improve connectivity.

2. Change the DCS settings to scatter service channels by disabling "Avoid 5G DFS channel" and enabling "Blacklist DFS channels in the presence of radar." Change the 2.4GHz channel deployment to "Four-Channel Deployment" or "All available channels."

3. Higher the WLAN rate control to 6Mpbs for 2.4GHz and 12Mbps for 5/6GHz to increase the packets speed that with lower rate.
