    Root and repeater AP are only used for smart mesh, correct?

    Yes, you're correct. The root and repeater AP roles are specifically used in the Smart Mesh feature. The root AP is the one connected via Ethernet, and the repeater AP connects wirelessly to the root AP to extend coverage in areas without a wired connection.

    Since you’ve disabled Smart Mesh, these roles won’t be applicable in your current setup.

    Thanks. I don't know if this is related but starting from 2024-10-25 11:57:19 today, my AP's started blinking green and amber 3 seconds apart and when I checked the event logs I saw these:

    And these persisted until around 2024-10-25 17:13:18. What happened here?
