Hi.
I am for first time using on my NWA130 wireless bridge.
I am using Nebula to control my network with total six NWA 130.

Two questions

Which port should I use when connecting a device ? Wan port or Lan port. Does it matter which port I use ?
I am running the device on mesh mode connecting wireless to an other NWA 130

Can I see in Nebula that I have a device connected to a port with wire ? I can’t find that option. Using base pack in Nebula.

Best regards.

    Hi @saltet ,

Which port should I use when connecting a device ? Wan port or Lan port. Does it matter which port I use ?

The NWA130BE can function in two ways:

    1. As a Root AP:
      • When its uplink port is connected to network devices like a modem, router, or gateway
      • This configuration makes it act as the root access point
    2. As a Repeater AP:
      • When it connects wirelessly to a Root AP
      • It extends the wireless network coverage by repeating the signal

To connect devices like laptops to the NWA130BE, use its LAN port.

For setting up Smart Mesh connections on Nebula, please refer to this FAQ:

Can I see in Nebula that I have a device connected to a port with wire ?

Currently, there is no feature available to monitor or view which devices are physically connected to the NWA130BE's LAN port via Ethernet cable.

    Thanks a lot for answers.
A suggestion is to develop a function to make it able to se what device is connected to the port when using ap with wireless bridge.
