SCR 50AXE vouchers

Hi,

I've just bought a SCR 50AXE and I need to implement voucher authentication.

The option voucher appears after activation Nebula Pro Trial but the sign-in option does not.

Is that option only available for APs? I thought it could be used as an AP.
Or is it because the trial license still appears as "IN PROGRESS" ?

The voucher function is currently for APs. I'm checking on SCR 50AXE to see if we have a plan for this feature. I will update you once I have more information.

After checking with the product team, we regret to announce that SCR 50AXE won't have the voucher function since its product position.

The SCR 50AXE is designed mainly as a network firewall providing security protection for a small office.

The built-in WiFi is a complementary feature to its security functionality; thus, it does not have advanced features like a voucher or captive portal.

However, with the addition of any Nebula access point, you can use full-blown captive portal features and enjoy subscription-free firewall protection, all managed in a single pane of glass.

Terrible position from Zyxel, actually!
Complementary? Stop doing favors to yours clients this way… it's not complementary… it's part of the specs of the product as is.
Don't understand as it shows an internal AP and it shouldn't be hard to have this included.
So, a small coffee shop that wants to use vouchers, has to get this for security + an AP + Nebula's fees

Might as well get openwrt compatible router and try to sell this crap
