Isolate server from home devices on AX7501-B
Hello, I got a AX7501-B from my ISP since we got 10gbit optical fiber. I have been trying to isolate a server on my network without luck. The goal is to have it on some kind of separate LAN so it can't communicate LAN-LAN with other devices at my network because of security.
I have tried with VLAN, DMZ, Interface group without success. I guess the router is not super advanced, if it's not possible with this one, can I get some tips/ideas of what equipment I need. Only some devices would need 10gbit but the server and 2 home computers, and I want to restrict lan-to-lan communication between server and the rest of the home network.

If the separation with interface grouping is not enough for you and and Vlan only works if the devices are configured for Vlan too you can you use a managed switch that separates Vlan segments for your Net physically over the Lan ports like a Netgear GS305E Managed Switch .
I dont think that you really get 10 Gbit behind your ONT Modem but something very lower according to your contract ! The fiber Router filters your traffic out of the theoretical 10 Gbit or 2 Gbit .

well it’s not that interface grouping is ”not enough” is more that I can’t get it to work properly I can’t seem to put a firewall rule to block LAN to LAN between the 2 subnets, and also vlan and interface group settings seems to not nt working. I’m trying to find out how to set this up but I am lost and can’t get in touch with support either.
I pay for 10gbit as in 10 000 Mbit at least. Not sure what the actual speed is though.0
