Question: Can SecuReporter notify me directly in case of anomalies? If not, how can I get notified?

Answer: Yes, you can get notified about anomalies, but there are a few considerations based on your setup:

  • On-premise SecuReporter: You can configure SecuReporter to send alert emails directly to you. This setup can notify you when specific thresholds are reached, or anomalies are detected in your network traffic.
  • Nebula-based Devices: While the alerts are managed through the Nebula interface, they are driven by the SecuReporter under the hood. To configure alerts in Nebula:
    1. Go to the Nebula Control Center (NCC).
    2. Navigate to Site-wide > Configure > Alert settings.
    3. Set up your alert preferences here. The system can notify you via email, block abnormal traffic, quarantine suspicious activity, and even send app notifications.
