There can be several reasons why your Access Point (AP) is not broadcasting the SSID. Here are some steps you can follow to resolve this issue:
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Power & Connectivity:
- Check the power LED: Ensure the access point is receiving power by verifying the power LED is lit.
- Verify the Ethernet connection: Confirm the AP is properly connected to your network with an Ethernet cable.
- Check Nebula Connectivity:
- Log into your Nebula Control Center and verify that the AP is online.
- If the AP was removed, add it back to the site and bring it online.
- Factory Reset:
- If the previous steps don't resolve the issue, consider resetting the AP to its factory defaults and reconfiguring it.
- Power Issues:
- Ensure the AP is connected to a reliable power source and that the adapter's wattage meets the device's requirements.
- Following an event log review, issues like "Disable slot1 due to limited power" suggest power problems. You can check this Zyxel Community thread for further information: How to resolve Wi-Fi disable slot due to limited power.
