Using my NWA50AX as a repeater / extender

I have bought a NWA50AX and was wondering if I can set it up so that it can repeat my existing sky WIFI signal?

I have my sky router on one side of my house as thats the only place that I can put it and then got an ethernet cable running from my router into my room which is on the other side of my house and into a switch and then from that into my NWA50AX.

I have played around with some setting and I can't seem to set it up so that it will repeat / extend the signal that is coming from the router. I have tried setting up the same SSID as my sky one (same name and password) but that doesn't help either.

    Hi @Sharpuie

The NWA50AX does not support repeating or extending the signal wirelessly from non-Zyxel devices, as it only establishes a mesh connection with other Zyxel APs. However, since you’ve already connected your NWA50AX to your Sky router via an Ethernet cable, you can extend your wireless coverage effectively.

To achieve seamless roaming between your devices, you can configure the NWA50AX with the same SSID, password, and security settings as your Sky router. This setup will allow devices to switch between the two seamlessly as you move around your home.

For more details about the mesh compatibility of Zyxel access points, you can refer to this article:
