IP Passthrough allows a LAN computer on the local network of the Zyxel device to access web services using the public IP address. When IP Passthrough is configured, all traffic is forwarded directly to the LAN computer, bypassing the Network Address Translation (NAT) process. This means that the LAN computer will use the public IP address for internet access instead of a private IP address.
