Limiting bandwidth for each WiFi client ensures fair access to the network, preventing a small number of clients from monopolizing bandwidth. This can be configured in the device settings by defining specific bandwidth limits for individual clients, promoting a balanced network experience for all users.
To limit the maximum bandwidth for each WiFi client, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Configuration > Object > AP Profile > SSID > SSID List, select the desired profile and click Edit.
- In the Downlink field, specify the maximum transmission data rate (in Mbps or Kbps) for each WiFi client.
- Click OK to save the changes.
This configuration ensures controlled bandwidth usage for all clients.
