Setting up a RADIUS server on an AP provides centralized user authentication and authorization, improving network security. This is ideal for enterprise users managing numerous WiFi clients.
Steps to configure a RADIUS server:
- Go to Configuration > Object > AP Profile > SSID > Security List.
- Select the desired profile and click Edit.
- Set Authentication Settings to Enterprise to enable the RADIUS server configuration.
- Enter the RADIUS server's IP address, port number, and shared secret. Ensure the shared secret matches the one configured on the RADIUS server.
