A hostname is a unique identifier assigned to a device on a network. It allows devices within the network to recognize and communicate with each other by name, rather than using IP addresses.

To configure the hostname on your Zyxel device, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Configuration > System > Host Name.
  2. Enter the desired hostname in the field provided.
  3. Click Apply to save your changes.
