Why does my Nebula Mesh experience a drop in downstream speed over time?

The drop in downstream speed on your Nebula Mesh uplinks can occur due to several reasons. One common issue is weak signal strength between the Mesh Repeater and the Root AP. When the signal falls below a certain threshold (e.g., -65 dBm), packet loss may occur, leading to a decrease in uplink and downlink speeds.
Relocating the Repeater to minimize distance or interference from the Root AP can help improve signal strength. However, if the signal strength is not the issue, another factor could be the need for a periodic reboot. Reboots might solve the problem because they disassociate connected clients with low signal strength, thus improving the overall network performance.
