The packet loss problem could be caused by several factors, including:
- Wireless interference in the environment
- Clients are too far from the Access Point (AP), resulting in a weak signal
- Device-specific mechanisms, such as power-saving modes on some devices
To confirm the source of the problem, you can perform the following tests:
- Ping the gateway from the AP
- Ping the gateway from a Wi-Fi client
Additionally, ensure the signal strength of the Wi-Fi clients is within a reasonable range (around -65dBm) for normal packet transmission.
