The packet loss problem could be caused by several factors, including:

  • Wireless interference in the environment
  • Clients are too far from the Access Point (AP), resulting in a weak signal
  • Device-specific mechanisms, such as power-saving modes on some devices

To confirm the source of the problem, you can perform the following tests:

  1. Ping the gateway from the AP
  2. Ping the gateway from a Wi-Fi client

Additionally, ensure the signal strength of the Wi-Fi clients is within a reasonable range (around -65dBm) for normal packet transmission.
