Question:
If I reset or restore my device that was previously connected using a Dynamic Personal Pre-Shared Key (DPPSK), can I still use the same DPPSK to reconnect, or will I need to generate a new one?
Answer:
Yes, you can still use the same DPPSK to reconnect your device, even after restoring or resetting it.
Here's Why:
- The DPPSK is a cloud-based authentication method managed through Nebula.
- As long as the set time interval or the DPPSK user expiration has not lapsed, the same DPPSK will remain valid.
- This means that even if your phone or any other client device is reset, the DPPSK configuration tied to the device's MAC address remains unaffected as long as it has not expired.
