Why did my switch lose its configuration or reset the password after a firmware upgrade?

For certain switch models, such as the GS1350, GS1900, GS1915, GS1920, and similar models, configuration settings are not automatically saved after being applied.

To prevent losing your settings, ensure you manually save them. After completing your configuration, click the Save button located in the top-right corner of the management interface. This step secures your changes and ensures they persist after a reboot or firmware upgrade.
