how do I activate eSim on my NR7101 modem?

I have the "no eSim" available situation. However, there is no "Activate eSim" button available on my iphone 12 on the Zyxel Air app. Similar to the link below. Do I need a specific LTE upgrade on the modem? I'm using FW NR7101_V1.00(ABUV.10)C0.

Hi,
eSIM is reserved for mobile service providers who requested this feature; unfortunately, it is not supported for generic release.
