Routers keep losing internet every few minutes

My Zyxel router (which worked fine) got damaged by lightning. My ISP sent me a new router (pre-configured by them), but since installation - it lose internet connection every few minutes, and connects within a few seconds again. With the ISP technical support, we reset the router, made some changes, but it just continues.

They then blames the fiber infrastructure owners. They tested and proved to me with their own router (TP link) that there is no disconnects. My ISP then sent me a new (pre-configured) Zyxel router again. EXACTLY the same issue - it keeps disconnecting. I then tried my own D-link router, no issue??

Can I please get some assistance?

I would suggest to check with your ISP again and explain to them the internet disconencting issue still happening and ask ISP to check network setting instead of swapping you a new router.

Oh trust me - I have been in contact with them for about 3 weeks, every day. All they did was to blame the infrastructure owner (which was proven not to be the issue). I have eventually decided to cancel my subscription with them and have sent their routers back.
