Cloud Mode AP GUI Enhancements in Zyxel APs (Firmware 7.10)

With the firmware 7.10 update, Zyxel is expanding the functionality of Cloud-Managed APs by introducing new maintenance options in the local web GUI. These enhancements provide administrators with more control over their APs, even when managed by Nebula Control Center (NCC).

What’s New in the Cloud Mode AP GUI?

Previously, when an AP was managed by NCC (Nebula Control Center), the local web GUI was limited to a basic dashboard, diagnostics, and logs.

With firmware 7.10, the local web GUI now includes:

• Firmware Upgrade – Update the AP’s firmware locally if there are issues with NCC.
• Reboot Device – Manually restart the AP without needing to access NCC.
