Transfer devices to a new system administrator

first i will explain in what kind of situation we are. We are in transistion with our company to be a much more professional MSP. So we are looking into the possibilities of Nebula, and all other aspects to be a full MSP. So i got the question: What if a current customer of us, don't want to use us as MSP anymore, how to deal with the current nebula account and devices at the customer sites.

Let say the go to an other system administrator, we can't say, ok, we delete your organisation and goodbey! We want to handle this kind of situation in a good manner. What i was thinking about was: Create an new stand alone nebula account, and transfer all the information from our MSP organisation to the new account. But it seems this is not possible. Then i created an new admin, and transfert the test organisation to this new admin (owner). But the organisation still remains in our portal. But i want to get rid of it.

Can you give me some advice how to handle this the right way? (the customer choose to go to someone else, so i don't want offcourse to configure everything again for them in a new account.

I just want a new account, with their devices and the current config, hand the account and password over, and say: good luck!

    i also tried something with backup and restore, but that is also not possible it seems.

    hmmm i'm thinking when you do what i thought about. (transfering all settings and devices to an new account) the new admin can als look into the current config from the customer. That's also not ideal

    Hi @Dpj ,

    Then i created an new admin, and transfert the test organisation to this new admin (owner). But the organisation still remains in our portal. 

    Your direction is correct. The next action you need to do is that:

    • Log into the Nebula portal using your new account
    • Go to the Administrator menu
    • Delete your original MSP account

    Once completed, when you log in with your MSP account (your portal), you will no longer see the transferred organization.
