I did some testing with cloud authentication. in this example i didn't configure my mac address in nebula as user, so when i connected my laptop to the switch i couldn't connect. But i didn't see any logging of it. Is that correct? I would assume i get an message warning that my mac address isn't authorized to access the network.

Hi @Dpj,

Currently, the switch won't record a log for an authentication failure. I have helped create an idea post. Our product team will monitor the comments and votes during the evaluation.

Additionally, you can use the live tool > remote SSH to enter this command show cloud authentication to check the cloud authentication table. Below are the examples:
