Multiple WBE660S and Ethernet/Wired Backhaul
Hi
I have 2 x WBE660S devices and wish to have one as root AP and the other as AP. They are both connected by ethernet to a 10gbe switch.
How does the AP system work, are they connected wirelessly? Are they connected by an ethernet backhaul? Can they use the same SSID?
Is it possible to enable ethernet/wired backhaul?
Thanks

Hi @vertigo8 ,
When your two WBE660S devices connect to the switch via Ethernet, they are connected as wired backhaul, not wirelessly. There is no need to do anything to enable Ethernet/wired backhaul.
The connection only changes to wireless backhaul when Smart Mesh is active and one of the two WBE660S devices' Ethernet uplink goes down. To learn more about Smart Mesh and wireless backhaul, please refer to the FAQ.
When your two WBE660S devices are registered to the same Nebula site without any tags, the SSIDs broadcasted from both WBE660S devices will be identical by default.

Thanks for the reply.
I note that you mentioned"The connection only changes to wireless backhaul when Smart Mesh is active and one of the two WBE660S devices' Ethernet uplink goes down."
So can i interpret this as Smart Mesh is active AND one of the devices ethernet uplink goes down, so both conditions must be true?
