WLAN - WiFi Aid - Hit Threshold in Email

In Nebula 19.00, Zyxel Networks has enhanced the WiFi Aid feature by improving how threshold alert emails are handled. Now, when an event triggers a WiFi Aid threshold alert, network administrators will receive much more detailed email notifications — helping them troubleshoot faster and make smarter decisions.
Background: Previous Behavior
Previously, when WiFi Aid was enabled and a hit threshold was configured (e.g., "send an alert if more than 10 client failures occur"), administrators would receive a basic email notification.
However, these emails only indicated that a connection failure happened — without specifying the exact cause. As a result, administrators had to manually log into Nebula Control Center (NCC) and further investigate the root issue.
What's New in Nebula 19.00?
Now, when the hit threshold is reached, the alert email will include specific issue types:
- DNS failures (e.g., clients failing to query DNS)
- DHCP failures (e.g., clients not getting an IP address)
- Wireless connection failures (e.g., clients unable to establish a wireless link)
This added information empowers administrators to:
- Quickly assess the severity of the issue.
- Understand exactly what kind of problems clients are encountering.
- Decide whether immediate action is required or if the issue can be monitored.
