Why not make Nebula an API first platform?

Hi,

It is quite silly that people need to request or beg for API functionality, similar to that already in the NCC portal. Make it simple, make it API first!

When making a new feature for the NCC, make the API, then implement the feature in the UI.

The API's people should be making request for is for those not underlying the UI.

For example my organization needs to connect our existing management tools, that management much more than network devices to Nebula for efficient operations. This means pushing organizations, sites, setting SSID's and PSK, and registering new devices by API's. And also pulling system and device status into out single pane of glass monitoring system.

In our case we can log into NCC do execute other actions, but that is most likely different for others. It is unnecessary for everybody to pled their case here.

Zyxel, why don't you aim to be the best cloud platform? Go API first!

    Hi @bvlarsen ,

Currently, we provide OpenAPI-based operations for Pro organizations. To see what information is available via API, please refer to the Nebula OpenAPI documentation.

We are also developing additional features that can be accessed via API. If the information you need is not available in the current API, please let us know what's missing. We'll evaluate adding it.
