Why not? Modem is supportive of such a feature?
Bring an update to enable this? I recently bought this router and im already dissapointed that one of the few routers with 4x4 (in my country) ext antenna support dont let me lock cells… Such a simple thing to allow? Even if not in router page atleast give documentation on how to connect and do such with telnet or whatever.

I look forward to an update regarding this since its very hard to maintain the most stable connection without such a feature.

    Hi @ReallyWhyNot

For the latest indoor models, the Cellular Lock feature is no longer supported. This decision is based on real-world deployment patterns and long-term product experience.

In our previous-generation models, the Cellular Lock function frequently resulted in interoperability (IOP) issues. In most cases, these issues were linked to operator-side configurations or network policies beyond the device’s control. To ensure better compatibility, stability, and a more consistent user experience, this feature has been gradually removed from our newer indoor product line, and it will also be phased out from all upcoming new models, regardless of whether they are indoor or outdoor.

Personally i vote for it to be kept as an option but somehow either only doable trough telnet or trough the browser but as hidden developer option or similiar. So the option exists for users to tinker with if they want but with 0 guarantee that it would work. If in browser needs to be warnings labeled and honestly it would mess with the nice design. So i vote for it to be possible only if connect to router trough the terminal. Personally i would love the option to try and optimize my speed but also signal strength.

But ofcourse in all honesty i understand the decision considering for majority of users this is supposed to be buy once setup once and just enjoy. Meanwhile for me i love to try everything and see what is the best solution for me. After all i spent much money on the router, but also on antennas. And anyways i have to swap between 5G NSA and certain bands if i want low latency, or go lock 4g and other bands if i want high speed. For me there is no setup once and enjoy. Constantly have to change depending on what i wanna do. And in some cases it go wrong cell and it gets horrible, and then il have to restart and it goes correctly etc.
