    Hi @JVA,

    Welcome to the Zyxel Community!

Regarding the issue you are experiencing, could you please clarify some information so we can further investigate and better assist you. Kindly follow these steps to check your network details for troubleshooting:

    1. Connection

First, connect your PC directly to the device via an Ethernet cable. This ensures your computer is using the correct network and the right gateway IP address for accessing the Web GUI.

    2. Check Your PC's Network Configuration

    • Open Command Prompt (CMD):
      • If you are using Windows, search for CMD and open it. (A black command window will open.)
    • Run ipconfig or ipconfig /all
    • Check the Information:
      • Look for the section titled Ethernet adapter Ethernet.
      • Please provide the information shown for the following fields. For example:
        • IPv4 Address: 192.168.1.186
        • Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
        • Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

    3. Accessing the Web GUI

By default, the FWA505 operates in Router Mode, which means it assigns an IP address to your computer (like the example 192.168.1.186).

The IP address listed next to Default Gateway is the IP address of your FWA505 itself.

To access the Web GUI, please open your web browser (Chrome, Edge, etc.) and enter the Default Gateway IP address into the address bar. For instance, you may type https://192.168.1.1 or just 192.168.1.1.

Feel free to let us know if the steps above resolve your problem.

I know that. I cant connect even via WinSCP or putty anymore with ssh(rj45) to get older version . Stock version was 1.18 and i uploaded /unzipped 1.60. When i uploaded bin it booted itself and after some time it still doesnt go back up. I needed to switch poweroff and reset, but i think firmware is done, so that was a quick zyxel experience for now.

I dont know is there and firewall issue with windows 11 to get acces with these programs to upload older firmware to these routers. Maybe i need to try with my old linux laptop. I saw older discussions about that.
