If your AP’s syslog packets are showing timestamps in UTC+0, it is likely due to the site timezone settings not being configured in the Zyxel Nebula Control Center, or because the option to log syslog messages using the site’s timezone has not been enabled.

Please follow the step to check:

1. Site Timezone Configuration

Site-wide » Configure » Site settings

Ensure that your site is assigned the correct local timezone.
If the timezone is not set—or is set to GMT—the syslog records may appear in UTC+0.

2. Syslog Server Timezone Logging Setting

Site-wide » Configure » Site settings » Reporting » Syslog server

There is an option named “Use timezone to log syslog server data.”
If this option is disabled, syslog entries sent to your syslog server will use GMT (UTC+0).
Enabling this option ensures that syslog messages reflect the site’s configured timezone.

To ensure your AP’s syslog uses the correct local timezone:

  • Set the correct Site Timezone in Nebula.
  • Enable “Use timezone to log syslog server data.” in the syslog server settings.
