User-Based Rate Limiting

Nebula now supports Radius-based rate limiting, allowing individual users to have unique bandwidth limitations based on attributes provided by the Radius server.

Technical Parameters

• Attributes: The AP recognizes WISPr-BW-MAX-UP and WISPr-BW-MAX-DOWN attributes in bits per second (BPS).
• Fallback: If the AP does not receive these attributes, it defaults to the static SSID rate limit.
• Management: This is currently restricted to cloud-managed APs using Captive Portal with Radius authentication.

Roaming Logic: This feature is currently limited to Captive Portal because Nebula shares authentication and rate-limit policy status across all APs in a site for this method, a mechanism not yet available for WPA Enterprise.
