removing unknown nebula account?

New to these discussions.

I recently bought a secondhand Zyxel fwa710 off ebay.

it appears it is locked to a (unknown ) Nebula account?

I stumbled across a post recently, where it says Zyxel support might be able to help with this.

Happy to provide proof of the purchase.

Use the nebula app on your smartphone (it has to be the app on the smartphone!) linked to your Nebula account add the qrcode on the device from there.

I do it all the time with used devices from Amazon and it works like a charm.

I've only ever used these in standalone mode, so do I need to register for the nebula app, and then scan the device Qr code?

Is ii that easy?

you can scan it as said by @Sandro_ACP with the Nebula App and adopt it inside your Nebula ORGs.

Only if the previous owner locked its adoption you will NOT be able to adopt it.

As suggested by Sandro_ACP and GiuseppeR, you may also refer to this article for clearer instructions on installing the app, creating an org/site, and registering your FWA710 under your account.

Additionally, please note that the Nebula mobile app provides basic monitoring features only for FWA (mobile router) devices. For advanced settings requirements (cellular-related functions, WiFi SSID, etc.), please log in directly to the device's local GUI to perform the necessary configuration.

If you encounter a situation where the previous owner has locked the device to prevent others from overriding the ownership, feel free to let us know. In this case, please provide your proof of purchase (receipt/invoice) and a photo of the label (showing the device's S/N and MAC) via private message so we can assist further.
