Hi, I purchased a new Mobile router and on setup I have an excellent 5G signal strength and works great but in the last 24 hours since setup, it has disconnected from 5G 4 times, each time requiring a reboot to reconnect. I can see the mast from my house so don't believe the signal is an issue. It reports as having the latest firmware installed. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @m1kebt ,

To confirm your signal is good, please refer to this article to see some signal strength index.

What is a good 5G Cellular Signal of mobile router? — Zyxel Community

By the way, you can try:

    • Go to APN settings and disable any cellular WAN profiles you are not using to reduce potential conflicts.
    • Confirm the correct APN, and manually set the correct APN for Cellular WAN
    • Check which 5G bands are supported by your ISP and switch from Band Auto Selection to the manually supported band.
    • Set up a daily reboot schedule during a time when there is minimal service impact. To configure this, go to Nebula > Site-wide > Devices > Mobile Router > Maintenance

    Thanks Zyxel_Judy.

Signal strength in terms of the article in the link shows SINR in "Mid-cell" but RSRP and RSRQ in "Good". I live in the countryside and can see the only mast nearby which has 5G from my provider O2. When i look at APN settings I can only see one, i assume when you mention conflicts it would be from possible alternatives which i don't have where I live.

In terms of a reboot schedule I cannot see that option in either my Nebula app or Zyxel Air app, i can only see an option to manually reboot now and not schedule. Even if i could set a schedule, it drops sometime between every 6 and 9 hours so is not very predictable.

    Hi @m1kebt ,

Have you tried to check which 5G bands are supported by your ISP and configure manually supported band?

The schedule reboot is available on the Nebula portal, with the steps as this link:
