Nebula 20.00 - Address assignment DHCP or PPPoE ?

Hello everyone,

As you declare PPPoE connection for a WAN interface you still see that the address assignment remains DHCP:

It seems to me that this is a misalignment between settings.

How can I solve it?

This is the current expected behavior. Please manually set the Address Assignment to Unassigned for now.

We are currently evaluating an improvement to automatically set the Address Assignment to Unassigned when the PPPoE option is selected on the interface.

why not using the proper option PPPoE as it is available?

This is the current behavior by design. We will evaluate the configuration design regarding the option to directly select PPPoE under Address Assignment for the PPPoE interface. You can view and vote for this idea here.
