Noisy fan

The fan in our Nebula FWA510 is noisy. The risk is that it will stop running causing the router be overheated and die. Can I open the case and oil it? Is there an exchange unit? Thankful for tips. It has been in use for 2.6 years.

We strongly advise against opening the device to oil or repair the fan yourself, as doing so will void your warranty and may lead to further hardware complications.

The noisy fan behavior on the Nebula FWA510 is a known hardware issue with a patch of product. We recommend contacting our Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) team to verify whether your device is still within the warranty period and to proceed with a replacement if applicable.
